A Few I've Been Working On Lately by ValkyrieOfODIN
A Few I've Been Working On Lately
I'm still alive! Promise!  I have had a TON of customs and processing of fiber to do. That, and garden/medicine making and raising the kiddo (and dogs and rabbits)- all along with making inventory for the shop. Very busy. Trying to take more time to relax and slow the pace. This is by far not all i've worked on since I last updated- many I forgot to even photograph before they returned to the person whom commissioned it or it sold.    Enjoy, everyone! And, those who wanted to see the current photos of the kiddo- here she is!

Imbolc 2016 by ValkyrieOfODIN
Imbolc 2016
My Imbolc. I decided to make some carrot potato leek soup, wheat bushel bread, and lemon bundt cake. I replanted some baby aloes after I pulled them from the mama, watered the yard (with my helper assisting) and set a little outdoor altar up. The kiddo added to it. Also, last night mama toad was out. She lives in a hollow by my front door.

Just sharing how nice today was, on Imbolc.

My husband and I team up in creating things. We make custom wood hair sticks, jewelry, runes, metaphysical items, herbal goods, cold-process soaps, and more.

I had two Etsy shops running one time but closed them for a while, and re-opened one recently. The other shop had vintage, recyclled items, and supplies in it.

I am a graphic designer with a background in photography and pre-press design. I am a retired model and wardrobe stylist. In the past, I ran a contest and model site and was a former journalist for paganpages.org.

My digital and traditional art have been featured in many locations, shows, and publications, and my jewelry, soap, and other goodies have traveled all over the world! So fun!

Interests
Well, lots of news... my shop is closed out from the name Wild Roots Naturals (as I found another shop had the name, even after mine but they sold similar things... so avoiding a lawsuit!) and is now Wild Dahlia!

Aaaaaaaand, we are accepted to vend this 2015 season at TRF (Texas Renaissance Festival)!!! Wooooo!  I have paid the fees to get in... found a tent, but it's too big and has some flaws... so back to square one with the tent. My husband and I are drawing things out and thinking of building something. But this brings me to the next thing... If you can help us by sharing, that would be great! We have donation level perks, like hand spun yarn, soaps, and custom created pieces like faeries, dragon eggs, etc.

I am WAY behind on photographing things but i'm really trying. Hard with the kiddo, and given the time I spend with spinning commission yarns. I'm ahead of schedule and have one last one to card and spin... but there's lbs of wool there to work with.

This is written pretty fast, as my kiddo is supposed to be sleeping but is wide awake- having to retire this to see if she'll snuggle in bed next to me instead of hers. I hope to update more later, or make some collages or submissions... i've sent a lot back before taking good photos though, and it's almost killing me that I haven't!
